Paris Art Project by Tape Over.

Tape Over is an international group of artists, founded in Berlin, who commission projects using tape art. They recently created window murals for a property in Paris; the previous city block was transformed to house a hotel, shopping centre, offices, library, educational hub and social housing. It was important for the tape art to be welcoming and entice passers-by to explore the new building. We definitely think they hit the mark, using one of our favourite materials - ColourShift ASLAN SE 70!

The outcome.

Tape Over utilised 800 square metres of ColourShift ASLAN SE 70 to create 15,000 individual triangles for the colourful glass facade. Installed inside but still visible from the outside, application took two weeks and each window had its own unique design.

Each self-adhesive film provides two different dichroic effects so visitors can enjoy new blasts of colour as angles and lighting change when they move around the building. It’s a great product choice and has resulted in an immersive design that reflects the building’s vibrancy. You can read more about this exciting project here
