The brief.

Throughout the summer of 2025, Northampton Museum & Art Gallery showcased a major exhibition exploring the history and cultural significance of Roman gladiatorial combat in Britain, ‘Gladiators of Britain’.

Our customer, Tangerine Red, was tasked with the exhibition design and installation. Their brief was to create bold, immersive wall and display graphics that would maintain their visual impact throughout the summer season. The graphics also needed to be removed cleanly at the end of the exhibition, leaving walls undamaged and ready for the next installation.

The solution.

After discussing the project’s needs with Tangerine Red, we recommended Digi-Fab - a 295gsm PVC-free woven polyester material offering the ideal balance of strength, colour performance, and clean removability.

Using Digi-Fab, Tangerine Red produced vibrant, fabric-textured graphics that held their colour and finish throughout the exhibition. Once the exhibition ended, the material was easily removed, leaving the walls ready for the museum’s next display.
