We are pleased to be open on a pretty much normal basis. We are observing strict social distancing rules and would ask that if you would like to collect your order that you order with us in advance to avoid unnecessary delays.
While on site you will be encouraged to use the hand sanitising stations that we have at each entrance.
Now that non-essential businessís and retail stores are returning to work, our delivery partners are experiencing an influx of collection requests which is putting the system under increased pressure. Because of that we would ask our customers to order 2 days in advance where possible to allow for any possible delays.
We are slowly increasing our staff levels and trying to offer as normal a service as possible. We have put lots of measures in place to protect the safety of our team. These include a one way system through our offices and warehouse so please bear with us if it takes a bit longer for us to answer the phone. At least we'll be fitter when we return to normal!!!
To enable us to pick, pack and despatch our daily orders we are having to reduce the hours that our telephones are manned. We will now be switching to night service at 4pm Mon-Thurs and 1pm on Fridays.
We have had to reduce our staffing levels even further and this will undoubtedly have an impact on our service.
We have had to remove the option for you to upgrade your order to a timed delivery.
All contact messages from our website and emails ending @dorotape.co.uk are being monitored but our response may be delayed due to these restrictions.
Phone calls to our main office number 01858 431642 may be diverted to a mobile number so in the event of any problems getting through, please leave a message and someone will contact you as soon as possible.
We are now working with a minimum number of staff and we ask that you please bear us and our delivery partners during these unprecedented times as your delivery make take longer than normal to reach you.
To best protect the health and safety of our colleagues and to maintain our social distancing, we are now working with about 50% of the number of staff. This has enabled those colleagues who also look after elderly family members, friends or neighbours or who have young children of their own can make sure that they have all they need in these difficult times.
The health and well being of our staff is of the utmost importance to us and as part of our duty of care we have put extra precautions into place to best protect their safety.
All non-essential travel has stopped and all non-essential visits cancelled.
We have provided extra hygiene products for staff and visitors with advise on their required usage.
All handles, taps, touch-pads and commonly touched surfaces are often wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes or sprays.
All deliveries and collections will be carried out on a non-contact basis meaning that you will not be asked to sign any paperwork.
In terms of stock holding, we are working very closely with our manufacturing partners in Europe and across the Globe to ensure that there will be no interruptions to supply and that we maintain our high standard of service to our customers.
