Paper Application Tapes

We stock a wide range of Paper Application Tapes, so whether you prefer low tack, high tack or a premium grade application tape designed for a specific use such as with air flow liners, we have it all in stock.

Paper application tapes are made from either standard or premium weight paper and coated with a special rubber based latex adhesive and are suitable for pretty much any application from signage, vehicle graphics and window graphics. They have the advantage that they can be torn by hand and are also suitable for both wet and dry application. The paper used is translucent when applied to the graphics so that positioning of the decals so much easier.

As a general rule, the larger the graphics are, the lower the tack level needs to be to transfer it successfully. So for very small intricate graphics it would be better to go to a higher tack level and conversely, for larger sized graphics a lower level of adhesion would be better. This rule is based on regular sign vinyl so exceptions to this would be if you are using a vinyl of film that has a high tack adhesive like reflective vinyl or a very low tack adhesive such as a stencil film. Then you would want to ensure that the level of adhesion is a closer match to the level of the vinyl underneath.
