About Us
We began what’s now Dorotape back in the late 1980s, supplying a handful of tapes to local businesses. Good at what we did, we expanded and progressed alongside the industries we served and the products we supplied. We outgrew a number of premises before finally making our home in the heart of Leicestershire.
We are best known as suppliers of a vast range of top-quality vinyls and films, particularly dichroic and metallised, as well as large format digital printing. We’re proudly independent, which means we have our pick of the most innovative and dynamic suppliers and materials - which we pass on to our customers.
Our broad portfolio of materials allows us to work with a vast range of businesses and industries. From retail display and signmaking to aircraft assembly and art installations. We wouldn’t be exaggerating if we said, and everything in between!
The team at Dorotape are passionate and focused. We love sharing our (very) many years of experience and passing on our expert knowledge and insight to our customers and the projects we help bring to life.

When not spending quality time with his family, Michael can usually be found either playing golf or walking and skiing on a snow capped mountain somewhere. Always happy to catch up over a couple of pints of Guinness or share a nice bottle of red.

There’s 2 sides to Paul – there’s the side that loves design, from the clean lines of a super car to trendy trainers, and then there’s the side that’s down and dirty with obstacle mud runs and mountain biking.

Emma enjoys relaxing with a glass of wine on a weekend and loves reading. Her favourite book and TV programme is Game of Thrones. Emma is also a Brownie leader for her local Brownie Pack.

Kate’s background in accounts is a far cry from her full throttle passion for following the British Superbike Events in her trusty campervan.

Craig enjoys listening to hard rock and metal music, the louder the better plus going to gigs. Going on lads’ holidays to random places. Also a Leicester City season ticket holder. Before I forget, I also love to have a couple of beverages.

Scott is passionate about fishing and talks about it from Friday eve onwards. As soon as it's the weekend he can be found in his tent next to a lake somewhere but one thing is for sure - he'll always have a beer in one hand.
