Application and Washing Instructions :: Pro-flock

Pro-flex appins

Application temperatures and heat pressing times are only a guide and can vary depending on material content.

It is therefore recommended that you do an evaluation on test material first.

Application and Washing Instructions:

Plotting / Cutting
Plotter Blade Type Cutting Pressure
Flock blade High

Heat Pressing
Temperature Press Time Pressure Peel
170oC 15-20 secs Medium Cool

Application:
  • Prepare design and cut in mirror
  • Select medium speed on plotter depending on type and make
  • Use a plotter blade designed for cutting flock materials and adjust the offset accordingly
  • Set heat press to 170o
  • Set press pressure to medium
  • To eliminate creasing, lay down garment onto base platen and press for 3-5 seconds
  • Open press and place the cut and weeded design at correct location on the garment (polyester liner up)
  • We recommend at this point to cover the design with a sheet of Tygaflor or a silicon sheet
  • Press for 15-20 seconds.
  • For garments with a high synthetic content, lower the heat press temperature and pressure, whilst extending the press time
  • Open Press and remove garment. Remove polyester liner when cool after 10 + seconds

Aftercare:

It is recommended that the garment is turned inside out before washing.
